DARTT – U.S. Department of Defense, Federal Agencies, and NATO

It was announced on June 14, 2007-2008 that the Data At Rest Tiger Team (DARTT), comprised of 20 DoD components, 18 federal agencies, and NATO, has approved Mobile Armor’s software and hardware encryption products for full disk encryption (FDE), file encryption (FES) and integrated FDE/FES within all federal, state, and local government agencies.

Mobile Armor’s mobile data security solution meets the most stringent requirements for protecting the Federal Government’s mobile workforce (laptops, PDAs, smart phones, etc.) by securing its highly sensitive data with a security solution that offers high-speed, full-disk encryption, the ability to centrally manage all devices under a single console, an easy path to deployment and low total cost of ownership. This solution allows the use of government-mandated Common Access Cards (CAC), enables government agencies to comply with OMB Directive M-06-16, is Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 certified using AES or 3DES encryption algorithms, and is designed to integrate seamlessly with Microsoft Windows, Linux, Blackberry, Palm OS, and Microsoft Windows Mobile operating systems.

L-3 Communications

Mobile Armor announced on May 1, 2007-2008 that it has been awarded a new contract by L-3 Communications Link Simulation and Training (L-3 Link), a leading systems integrator that delivers and supports advanced simulation systems and training services for both U.S. and international military services. As a result of this contract, Mobile Armor will provide encryption capabilities for all laptop computers.

L-3’s Link division is a systems integration organization that delivers and supports training systems and equipment to enhance operational proficiency. Its current services include conducting front-end analysis, program design, simulator design, production and field support, and aircraft logistics support.

U.S. General Services Administration (GSA)

Mobile Armor announced on February 28, 2007-2008 the award of a five-year United States General Services Administration Schedule contract, number GS-35F-0225T, providing government customers the ability to conveniently purchase and deploy Mobile Armor’s enterprise mobile data security solutions for wired and wireless devices. Mobile Armor’s inclusion on the GSA schedule is enabled by an agreement with MTM Technologies, a leading national provider of innovative IT solutions and services to Global 2000 and mid-size companies.

Mobile Armor’s security solution enables Government agencies and enterprises alike to consolidate their critical security functions, encrypt and manage electronic assets, and monitor security policy compliance for local and remotely deployed systems.

U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)

Mobile Armor announced on August 4, 2006 that the United States Department of Defense awarded the company a contract for safeguarding the critical data and information of top-level civilian and military leaders at the DoD. Mobile Armor’s software provides an added level of security in the event of a lost or stolen device by protecting the device with AES, FIPS-validated encryption.

Under the terms of the contract, Mobile Armor’s security solutions software meets the rigorous requirements issued by the Department of Defense Directive Number 8100.2.

Mobile Armor’s ability to provide the only next-generation, complete Enterprise Mobile Data Security™ (EMDS) software solution was essential to the DoD’s selection of Mobile Armor’s data security software, which includes: cross-platform centralized management and reporting under a single console for local and remotely deployed systems; data protection through high-speed, full-device encryption; two-factor authentication at pre-boot allowing the use of the government-mandated CAC when authenticating to a device; and the ability to establish secure connection between mobile devices and corporate networks.

U.S. Department of Defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)

Mobile Armor announced on May 8, 2006 that the United States Department of Defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense has awarded an enterprise contract to safeguard the integrity of its critical data and information and provide the OSD with the assurance that its data is automatically protected no matter where it resides or how far it travels.

Mobile Armor’s technology met the most stringent requirements for protecting the OSD’s mobile workforce (laptops, PDAs, Smartphones, etc.) by enabling them to secure highly sensitive data with a security solution that offers high-speed, full-disk encryption, two-factor authentication at pre-boot so Common Access Cards can be used, the ability to centrally manage all devices under a single console, an easy path to deployment, and low total cost of ownership.

Designed to seamlessly integrate with Microsoft Windows, Linux, Blackberry, Palm OS and Microsoft Windows Mobile operating systems, Mobile Armor’s complete suite of data security solutions ensure consistency, integrity and availability for all critical data. Mobile Armor provides the tools that secure the enterprise, including: cross-platform centralized management and reporting, data protection through high speed encryption and integrated authentication, protection against malicious software, compliance and remediation, network protection from outside intruders, and the ability to establish secure connection between mobile devices and corporate networks.

U.S. Joint Forces Command (J9)

Mobile Armor announced on May 13, 2006 that the United States Department of Defense, Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) Joint Experimentation Directorate (J9) purchased Mobile Armor’s data security solutions to ensure the protection of its internal and off-site devices as a part of J9’s wireless and mobile device security initiatives. In the event of a lost or stolen device during remote access, the Mobile Armor software protects the device with AES, FIPS-compliant encryption.

Mobile Armor’s security solutions enable rapid deployment of security protection and centralized policy management, which enables U. S. Government agencies and enterprises alike to consolidate their critical security functions, encrypt and manage electronic assets, and monitor security policy compliance for local and remotely deployed systems. Mobile Armor’s solutions assisted J9 in winning the Federal Leadership Council’s Showcase of Excellence Award.
