PolicyServer

Scalable, auditable, cross-platform enterprise security for multiple devices, managed from a single console for a defensible security perimeter

PolicyServer™ easily manages and enforces enterprise security policies for the entire suite of Mobile Armor’s Enterprise Mobile Data Security solutions across desktops, laptops, PDAs, Smartphones, Portable PCs, removable storage devices, and other critical computer systems.

Security administrators manage all users and devices through the PolicyServer Microsoft Management Console (MMC) using a Windows Explore-like interface. They create security policies for users, groups, and devices that transform business rules into an easily implemented security reality. Encrypted communication and policy updates are delivered over-the-air to mobile devices and on boot-up to networked devices with no impact to performance or intervention from the user.

PolicyServer provides an audit trail, compliance, and system metric reports to management that help define the impact of the security management system and meet regulatory requirements.

PolicyServer is enterprise scalable with a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). It supports multiple hardware platforms and operating systems. Extensible management of third-party software, Active Directory integration, and password recovery options for users are included in PolicyServer.

PolicyServer can be installed on an Enterprise server or hosted at the Managed Service Provider’s site in a subscription-based model.

DataArmor

Real-time, full-device data encryption and pre-boot authentication services to ensure true data security

DataArmor provides a powerful two-pronged data security solution with on-the-fly encryption and decryption and mandatory authentication to prevent unauthorized access.

DataArmor was the first 32-bit pre-boot authentication, full-device encryption product. The data on a DataArmor-protected device is always kept encrypted, securing all files, programs, registry settings, temporary files, and print spoolers.

DataArmor requires users to authenticate to the device before the operating system will boot. The Domain Authentication/Single Sign-on feature allows a user to authenticate to both the operating system and Mobile Armor using one password on the DataArmor sign-on screen. Several authentication methods can be used including Fixed Password, PIN, and Common Access Card (CAC).

DataArmor comes standard with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) mobile data security suite of solutions. DataArmor and/or FileArmor™ are standard in the Enterprise suite of solutions.

FileArmor

Encryption at the file and folder level to protect the data of individuals and groups and ensure the security of removable media storage devices

FileArmor provides data protection for individual files and folders and removable media devices such as portable hard drives, CDs, floppy disks, USB PIN drives, USB flash drives, and other high-capacity portable data storage devices

With FileArmor, organizations can be assured that trade secrets, intellectual property, and sensitive or legally protected information do not leave their network or the confines of their secure areas in an unprotected state either through email or on a removable storage device. The administrator can set policies that require that data copied to any removable storage device is automatically encrypted.

FileArmor, an option in the Enterprise suite of solutions, is managed through the PolicyServer management console and allows administrators to easily specify which local or server-based files, file types, and/or folders are to be encrypted and which users and groups have access and the ability to share files and folders across the network. Depending on the rights set by the administrator, the individual user can choose to encrypt or decrypt files using a key, password, or digital certificate.

MobileSentinel

MobileSentinel™ is a powerful device management, security compliance, and remediation tool that is paired with PolicyServer to allow enterprises to centrally define, deploy, and administer corporate security policies from a single management console.

MobileSentinel provides sophisticated logging, giving administrators a complete and instant view of the state of security policy enforcement and potential security threats across the entire enterprise, regardless of where the devices are located.

MobileSentinel has built-in robust device management functionality to improve the traceability and consistency of all devices across the enterprise.

MobileSentinel assures that all enterprise-approved applications are loaded and kept current and that the device conforms with regulatory and corporate requirements.

MobileSentinel is a component of the MSP and Enterprise standard suite of data security solutions.

MobileFirewall

Prevention of unauthorized access to valuable information on Internet-connected Windows Mobile devices MobileFirewall™ delivers enterprise-strength firewall software over the air to prevent malicious public network access to valuable information on Windows Smartphones and Pocket PCs. Because subversive activity is blocked at the device, if the device is connected to a corporate network, the corporate network is also protected.

MobileFirewall is an option that Managed Service Providers may provide to their enterprise customers and is integrated with PolicyServer, providing a single point of management.

RemoteNetwork

Secure VPN connectivity to information and applications behind corporate firewalls RemoteNetwork protects the corporate network from malicious activity by creating a secure tunnel over the Internet while providing solid protection against Internet thieves and vandals through endpoint security.  RemoteNetwork provides intrusion detection and notification and secures communication from client-to-client or client-to-gateway using the latest industry-standard IPSec recommendations.

RemoteNetwork plugs into the PolicyServer console for centralized administration and is available as a complement to the other suite of Managed Service Provider mobile data security solutions.

Mobile Armor backs its enterprise-class security products with Enterprise Services, which give direct access to Mobile Armor’s team of security experts. These experts can provide training, do a risk analysis and create a plan for how to deliver and enforce corporate security, assist with deploying solutions, and create customized audit analysis reports.

Mobile Armor’s Enterprise Services also include software updates, remote problem analysis and assistance, operation assistance, and access to an online self-service portal with a library of resources.
