FileArmor

Despite impressive increases in hard disk storage space on PCs, there is still the need to store files on removable media storage devices. Hard disks can crash and so you must archive your files. You want to work at home and the file is too large to email to your home computer so you copy it to a removable disk. You want to put a series of product presentations and collateral on a USB flash drive to give to customers. You work for a government installation that requires that a removable disk with top secret information is stored separately in a vault each evening for security purposes.

Whatever the reason, it is essential that enterprises and government agencies keep the data on these removable storage devices secure. If the device is lost or stolen, critical information can be compromised.

Mobile Armor has the solution with FileArmor™, a complete data protection solution for removable media devices and individual files and folders. FileArmor plugs into Mobile Armor’s PolicyServer™ central console to provide enterprise-level administration that fits in with the data security policies of your organization. The administrator can specify the local or server-based files, file types, and/or folders that are to be encrypted. FileArmor can also be managed by the individual, allowing them increased flexibility.

Individual files or folders or the entire removable media device can be encrypted on the fly with a single mouse click, safeguarding the integrity of corporate data regardless of where it travels.

Enterprise users can choose to include either FileArmor or DataArmor™ or both products in their suite of solutions.
